Located 35 km from Dharamshala, Palampur is a pretty hill station in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is a lively town situated at the foot of the scenic Dhauladhar range. It is famed as the tea capital of northern India. Palampur was first noticed by the Britishers and was soon turned into a bustling town as the center of trade and commerce.
