Jaipur aka Pink city, is the capital of Rajasthan. It is well acclaimed for its rich culture and tradition. It was founded on 18 November 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the Amber Fort ruler.
Jaipur is touted as the first planned city of India; the city is among one of the most visited tourist destinations in India, with its spectacular hilltops, beautiful landscape, long standing forts and palaces it attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur constructed five astronomical observatories known as Jantar Mantars. These structures with their amazing combinations of geometric forms have captivated artists, historians and architects at large scale. The largest out of five Jantar Mantars is in Jaipur.
