About tour

This is not one of those regular tourist trails. Ladakh's lesser-known neighbor, the cold mountain desert of Spiti, is for travelers who dare to travel off-beaten paths. Spiti Valley's scenic and quaint villages remain remotely nestled in the lap of the mighty, barren Himalayas of Himachal Pradesh, and it is here that you can hike along Snow Leopard and Himalayan Wolf habitats, visit monasteries dating back to over a 1000 years, savor a delicious cuisine and sample a fascinating culture different from the rest of India, Amaze yourself by meeting the kindest of people who live the harshest of lives. "This is a world within a world", as Rudyard Kipling once described it. Apart from Spiti Valley there is a bonus treat of 2 dreamy days at Manali and Kullu Valley, which is one of the most popular Himalayan destinations. On this tour you do not have to worry about anything, be it accommodation, transportation or even food. This 15 days private trip covers Chandigarh, Manali, Chandratal, Kaza, Tabo, Langza, Losar & Mandi.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Delhi

Arrive by flight at Delhi before noon. Welcome to the chaos of Delhi. Love it or hate it, but you cannot just ignore it. It is capital of India and the base location to explore North India. The largest city of India, Delhi is considered to be the city with a heart. The city’s importance lies not just in its past glory as the seat of empires and magnificent monuments, but also in the rich and diverse cultures.

Private car will pick you from Delhi Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. In the late afternoon head out for some Delhi exploration. We will cover the central Delhi this day, which is the seat of the country’s political power. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan (the official residence of the First Citizen of India – the President) and the Parliament of India. Visit Rajpath (which means the "King's Way”), a ceremonial avenue that is located in the heart of New Delhi. Then visit India Gate, which is like the “Arc de Triomphe” of India. It is a memorial to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the period 1914–21 in the First World War. Since 1971 it has served as India's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and as a memorial of the unsung heroes of the wars.
