Built in 1929 by the Tirwa royal family, it lay unused for decades until recently revived by Raja Digvijay Narain Singh and Shruti Shandilya. This stately Art Deco mansion—still retaining around 80 % of its original heritage—now offers five spacious guest rooms, a billiards room, a grand dining hall seating 18, and tranquil lawns where peacocks often roam.
The Tirwa lineage dates back to 596 AD, and their ancestral seat became a cultural hub, hosting dignitaries like governors, Viceroys, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, and Dr. Zakir Hussain. The palace’s restoration not only revives this legacy but showcases Indo‑European architecture, Murano chandelier designs, antiques, and the royal billiards table—one of North India’s first.
Guests can savor traditional Awadhi-Neapolitan cuisine—specialties include Shahi Gosht Kaliya, local chicken, and Noorani Sevai—served on brass thalis in the ornate dining hall. Farm produce and perfumery tours, visits to the 700-year-old Annapurna Devi Temple, and trips to the Lakh Bahosi bird sanctuary are part of immersive cultural tours arranged by the hosts.
The palace blends regal ambiance with modern comforts: polished suites furnished with period décor, leisurely billiards sessions, evening barbecues on the lawns, and ample sitting areas for tea amidst greenery. With only five guest rooms, it offers exclusivity and personalized hospitality.
