Customized India Tour Review: 2 Weeks with Bout India

We went on a two week tour of India because we were invited to a wedding and had arranged private transportation with the groom’s family from New Delhi to the wedding venue. The couple getting married had suggested what we should explore in addition to the wedding, but we didn’t find any trips that exactly matched our schedule.

BoutIndia came up on our search so I asked if they could create a tour matching out needs – and they did! The first leg of our trip was based on the "6-days private Heritage Golden Triangle Tour".

We were a little sceptical in the beginning, because it sounded too good to be true, but after receiving detailed communication on a weekly basis during the time from our reservation to the actual trip, we became calm – and when we received pictures of the driver and the vehicle two days prior to our arrival, we were ready to explore.

BoutIndia has continuously contacted us during the trip ensuring that everything was OK – we have never felt alone. All the local guides in the cities we visited were knowledgeable and easy to communicate with – and they were also flexible with the schedule when required.

BoutIndia selected some very nice hotels of high quality in all the cities – adding to the great experience. BoutIndia also recommended a Blue Pottery workshop and a India Cooking Class - both of them memorable experiences.

Because of our need of a break in between the tours and the second leg starting out 300 km from the end of the first leg, we had two different drivers. Both were experienced drivers taking us through the stressful traffic in all the larger cities making us feel safe in the middle of chaos.
