Day 1 - Coorg

Arrive by flight at Bangalore. A Private car will pick you up from Bangalore Airport and transfer you to Coorg.  A major centre for coffee and spice production. The uneven terrain and cool climate make it a fantastic area for trekking, bird watching or lazily ambling down little-trodden paths winding around carpeted hills.

Reach at Coorg. Check in at the hotel on arrival and relax.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Coorg.

Day 2 - Coorg

After breakfast, head out for sightseeing. Start with a visit to Omkareshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is famous for its Gothic and Islamic mix of architecture. The temple is situated in the centre of the main town. There’s a pond just outside the temple where people can feed the fish.

Then visit Talacauvery, which is the origin point of the river Cauvery. On reaching Talacauvery, you will find a huge arch at the gate amidst the Brahmagiri hills. Talacauvery is famous for two things: firstly, for the temple dedicated to Kaveriamma (Mother Cauvery) and secondly, for the majestic views of the Brahmagiri hills.

Afterwards, visit Coffee Plantations. There are many coffee estates in and around Madikeri Town where you can visit the plantation and learn about the process of coffee making.

Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Coorg.

Day 3 - Ooty

After breakfast, check out and visit Namdroling Monastery at Bylakuppe, a hub for Tibetans. The famous Namdroling Monastery is also known as the Golden Temple. Bylakuppe is the largest settlement of Tibetans in India after Dharamsala.

Then head towards Ooty, 'the Queen of Hill Stations', that mixes up Indian bustle and Hindu temples with lovely parks and gardens and charming British-era bungalows. Outskirts are covered with beautifully trimmed tea plantations, which are a treat for the eyes. Check in at the hotel on arrival.

Then visit Ooty Lake, which is one of the most refreshing and beautiful places to visit in Ooty. It lies at a distance of approximately 2 km from the city centre in the green hills of the Nilgiris district.

Day 4 - Ooty

Perched at an altitude of 1839 m, the Ooty Tea Factory is spread across nearly an acre, all covered with emerald green tea plants. Visitors can see the entire processing method right from the freshly plucked green leaves to their packaging at the factory.

Then visit St.Stephen’s Church, which is indeed a marvellous and breathtaking architectural marvel located on the road to Mysore in Ooty. It is one of the earliest churches that you will find in the Nilgiris district. Then visit the Botanical Gardens, which was laid out in 1847 AD. The original purpose of the Botanical Gardens was to promote and study the various flora in and around Nilgiris.
