Coorg, also known as Kodagu, is one of India’s famous travel destinations and has been called the Scotland of India by the British and also called as the Kashmir of South India. Located on the eastern slopes of the Western Ghats, Coorg’s natural beauty, the people, the culture, and the food is the major attraction that draws people towards Coorg from all over the world.
Coorg is rated as one of the top hill station destinations in India. Coorg is considered rich with wildlife and has three wildlife sanctuaries and one national park: the Brahmagiri, Talakaveri, and Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuaries, and the Nagarhole National Park, also known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park.
Udhagamandalam or Ooty (sometimes called as Ootacamund), is a town and the district capital of the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. It is located 80 km north of Coimbatore. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. The town's economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with the manufacture of medicines and photographic film. Thank you BoutIndia.com for an extraordinarily amazing travel experience! We took three tours: i) Best of Central India that includes Mumbai and Goa, ii) Golden Triangle and Rajsthan and iii) Southern Splendors. This Southern Splendors itinerary covers two of the best travel destinations of India - Tamil Nadu & Kerala. Our guide for this tour was Miss Shanthi. Shanthi was not only knowledgeable about history and culture but I could easily call her an expert on Hindu culture, temples, heritage and monuments of India. No wonder Tamil Nadu is a cradle of Hinduism and it would be innate to say that the state can boast to be a cradle of temples. W.... Read More

We did 17 days in Southern India from Chennai to Kochi. The tour was amazing! Because we had our own car and driver, we were able to see so many things and had the freedom to stop for pictures, interact with local people and sample so many wonderful foods. Our driver, Raju was wonderful and his oft repeated phrase was “no problem sir (Ma’m)! He was a very safe driver through some perilous roads and was always there when we needed him. Our local guides were knowledgeable and good to help us learn and understand about the places and cultures. Our trip coordinator, Geet, reached out to us almost every day to check in and make sure everythi.... Read More

Just returned from an amazing tour of Kerala and Tamil Nadu coordinated by the capable folks at Bout India. The sights were beautiful, the people delightful and the food incredible. Our driver of the trip, Mr. Dennis, kept us on schedule and made us feel comfortable and safe. He made the trip even more memorable. Mr. Navel, our guide in Cochin provided knowledgeable insights into the history of this wonderful city. Can’t wait to plan our next journey with the folks at Bout India.
Bout India did an excellent job in coordinating a 3 week tour of several regions that included multiple flights. Shakti was our driver for 2 weeks and was knowledgeable of all cities we visited and was highly professional. The vehicle was cleaned daily and stocked with snacks and drinks. The guides were specific to each city we visited and also knowledgeable. Everything was coordinated smoothly and airport pickups went without a hitch. We received daily itineraries from the Bout India office with information about the drivers and guides and their contact information. Any request was quickly responded to by management. Hotels were a mix of chain and local as appropriate for the city being visited.
