Known as the temple-architecture capital of Karnataka, Hassan is located 187 km from Bangalore. It is a base for visiting nearby Belur, Halebidu or Sravanabelagola. Halebidu is a city adorned with a beautiful collection of temples, shrines and sculptures.

Hampi, a temple town in northern Karnataka, was once the capital of the historical Vijayanagara Dynasty. This quaint place, lying amidst striking ruins of the past, has been receiving tourists from far off for ages.

Badami Chalukyas had this place as their capital between 540 AD and 757 AD. This place is quite popular for its cave temples that are cut out of sandstone rocks that surround the Agastya Lake.

Pint-sized Goa is more than beaches and trance parties. A kaleidoscopic blend of Indian and Portuguese cultures, sweetened with sun, sea, sand, seafood and spirituality, there's nowhere in India quite like it. Goa’s biggest draw is undoubtedly its virtually uninterrupted string of golden-sand beaches. This shimmering strand stretches along the Arabian Sea from the tip to the toe of the state, and each of the various beaches has developed its own personalities and reputations since the hippie days of the sixties.
