Day 1 : Kochi

Arrive by flight at Kochi. The serene Kochi (a.k.a. Cochin) has been drawing traders and explorers to its shores for over 600 years. Nowhere else in India could you find such an intriguing mix of giant fishing nets from China, a 400-year-old synagogue, ancient mosques, Portuguese houses and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. The result is an unusual blend of medieval Netherlands, Portugal and an English village grafted onto the tropical Malabar Coast.

The private car will pick up from the Kochi airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kochi. Evening at your leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Kochi.

Day 2 : Kochi

After breakfast head out for local sightseeing tour of Kochi.  Visit the famous attractions of Kochi, such as Fort Kochi, St Francis Church with Marine Drive – a perfect local hang-out and Willingdon, the man-made island.

Then visit the Old Paradesi Synagogue, is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations, located in Kochi, Kerala, in South India. Constructed in 1567, it is one of seven synagogues of the Malabar Yehudan people or Cochin Jewish community in Cochin. Then visit Mattancherry Palace, is a Portuguese palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace, in Mattancherry, which features Kerala murals depicting portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi. Afterwards visit Cochin Spice Market & Chinese fishing nets.

Day 3 : Munnar

After breakfast check-out from hotel and head straight to Munnar. The rolling hills around Munnar, South India's largest tea-growing region, are carpeted in emerald-green tea plantations, contoured, clipped and sculpted like ornamental hedges.

After around 5 hours journey reach Munnar by afternoon. Check-in at hotel on arrival. In the evening head out to see Kalaripayattu Show. Kalaripayattu is an ancient Indian martial art, which originated as a style in Kerala.

Day 4 : Munnar

After breakfast head out for sightseeing. Embark on a jeep tour to the villages & tea plantations. Munnar is always synonymous to tea plantation, as it also one of the highest tea growing regions of the world. A trip to Munnar will be incomplete without having a visit to these tea plantations. Then visit a local School. Later head out for Plantation Walk tour. There is nothing as refreshing as a walk through the lush green tea hedges. Day 5 : Munnar

After breakfast head out for sightseeing. Visit Pallivasal, the site of the first Hydro-Electric Project in Kerala. People regularly visit it to soak in the majestic view around the location. Then visit Pothamedu Viewpoint. This spectacular spot is visited by a large number of tourists every year, who get the opportunity to trek through the lush green forest of Munnar. Afterwards visit Munnar Tea Museum. The tea museum preserves the aspects on the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala's mountain region of the Western Ghats. Day 6 : Periyar/Thekkady

After breakfast check-out from hotel & head towards Periyar. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. The Periyar forests of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. Spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.

Day 7 : Periyar/Thekkady

Early in the morning, set out for Bamboo rafting and half day guided jungle hike at Periyar National Park. This activity takes close to 6 hrs. The wildlife sanctuary is also famous for its tiger reserve and elephant reserve. Visiting the sanctuary will be like exploring the nature around, enjoying the pristine and peaceful atmosphere around and getting relaxed from your busy schedules. There are bright chances to spot the elephant herd in the jungle while you are hiking. Reach back to hotel by noon.

In the evening, head out to see Kathakali Show. Kathakali is very famous form of Indian Classical Dance. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Periyar (Thekkady).

Day 8 : Kumarakom

After breakfast check-out from hotel & head towards Kumarakom, a sleepy little village on the shores Vembanad Lake in Kerala, situated 14 Kms away from Kottayam. It offers wide variety of flora, exotic sightseeing, boating and fishing experience. Kumarakom is a true travel pleasure that will mesmerize your senses. It is a paradise on earth. It is one of the foremost travel destinations of India and a jewel in the crown of Kerala tourism.

Reach Kumarakom by late afternoon. Check-in at the hotel on arrival. Evening at your leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 9 : Kumarakom

After breakfast head out for sightseeing. Visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Spread out over 14 hectares, you will across numerous rare avian species in these parts. Located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake in Kottayam, there are a variety of migratory birds that flock in thousands, ranging from places like the Himalayas to Siberia.

Check-in at the resort on arrival.  Later visit Johnymoose Backwater Farm for Kayaking. Have glimpses of day to day life of the locals. After 2 hours Kayaking reach back to the hotel. Evening at your leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 11 : Alleppey

After breakfast check-out from hotel & head towards Alleppey (Alappuzha). Welcome to the “Venice of the East” – Alleppey, world famous for its vast mesmerizing backwaters.

Reach Alleppey by noon. Check-in at private houseboat. Have lunch on the houseboat. Enjoy a boat cruise through the magnificent Vembanad lake for an unforgettable experience of backwater cruising. Dinner & overnight stay at the houseboat in Alleppey.

Day 12 : Kollam

After breakfast check-out from hotel and transfer back to the airport. After breakfast check-out from hotel and head towards Kovalam This place is blessed with few of the most pristine sea beaches in India, which are frequently visited all year long.
