Surrounded by snow-covered lofty Himalayas, meadows of flowers, deep ravines, and evergreen forested valleys, Gulmarg also has the world's second-highest Gondola ride.
Spend some leisure time in the valley and later head back to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel in Gulmarg.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head towards Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” Located 88 km from Srinagar, in the Anantnag District of Kashmir, it is a nature lover's retreat, which makes us believe that paradise is never too far.
On the way, visit Awantipora Ruins (Avantiswami Temple). This aesthetic temple was built by King Awantivarman in 853-855 CE. Afterwards, visit Martand Sun Temple in Mattan, a Hindu temple dedicated to Surya (Sun God), built during the 8th century CE. The temple complex was built by Lalitaditya, the third ruler of the Karkota Dynasty. Even in a wrecked state, the architecture is breathtaking, and the vibe is nostalgic and enticing.

Then, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a beautiful Sikh Temple built in 1517 to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith. Then stop at Magnetic Hill, a "Cyclops hill" or Gravity hill near Leh. The layout of the area and surrounding slopes create an amazing optic illusion. The hill road is a downhill road. Objects and cars on the hill road may appear to roll uphill in defiance of gravity when rolling downhill.

Afterwards, visit Alchi Monastery, built between 958 and 1055 CE. We visited Kashmir & Ladakh from 5-16 June 2024 and had a magical time! This would not have been possible without the team at Bout India working tirelessly to curate the perfect itinerary for me and my 2 travel partners. I chanced upon Bout India through an online search requesting for details. What I did not expect was a superquick response with a detailed itinerary from Mr Himanshu. He checked in constantly to see if we had any queries. Every question we had was answered with clarity and transparency - nothing was missed out. I was at Ladakh from 11 to 21 Jul and it was one of the most fulfilling and beautiful experiences I ever had. The people and ever changing landscapes were so amazing, I did not sleep during any of my car rides! I travelled to Leh, Kargil, Nubra, Panggong and some bits of Sham Valley Trek. Laised with Bout India's Himanshu on my customized itinerary, as I wanted both sightseeing and trekking. Himanshu was so quick in all his responses to my questions and was very assuring. As a solo traveller, the way he handled the whole itinerary planning was superb, with confidence and professionalism, yet with care and concern. I did not think twice to.... Read More
This review is long overdue. Vinny and Himanchu listened keenly to understand what we were looking for and then worked tirelessly to create an itinerary that was perfect for my family and I. Indeed we remember it as one of the best vacations we've taken. Our visit from Delhi to Leh to Nubra Valley to Agra to Jaipur and back to Delhi was carefully orchestrated with all the comforts and amenities that allowed for a 1st class travel excursion. We had local guides knowledgeable with the local attractions along the way and Himachu accompanied us on all the domestic travel - both flights and train. It was a delig.... Read More
The entire 9 day tour was a wonderful experience. Traveling alone, it was agreed that I would have a driver but no guide however Himanshu met me at the airport and spent 5 days with me before returning to Jaipur. He did everything possible to make me feel special. The driver, Nunu was a very careful and considerate driver who added to the feeling of well-being. Accommodation and meals were excellent throughout. I would recommend Bout India to anyone traveling to India.

Such a great experience, magical atmosphere, wonderful landscapes. Friendly and welcoming people. The guides we had were amazing, very skilled and prepared. The driver made us feel safe and relaxed. The hotels were above our expectations.
Bout India did an excellent job in coordinating a 3 week tour of several regions that included multiple flights. Shakti was our driver for 2 weeks and was knowledgeable of all cities we visited and was highly professional. The vehicle was cleaned daily and stocked with snacks and drinks. The guides were specific to each city we visited and also knowledgeable. Everything was coordinated smoothly and airport pickups went without a hitch. We received daily itineraries from the Bout India office with information about the drivers and guides and their contact information. Any request was quickly responded to by management. Hotels were a mix of chain and local as appropriate for the city being visited.
