Enjoy a hearty breakfast on board as the train halts at Jodhpur Railway Station, and get ready for an immersive journey into Rajasthan’s regal past.
Begin your day with a visit to the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most magnificent forts in India, perched 400 feet above the city. As you pass through the heavy stone gates, be prepared to step into a world of royal grandeur. Explore the fort’s vast courtyards, intricately decorated palaces, and well-preserved galleries.

Welcome to Jaipur – The Royal Pink City
Namaste and welcome to Rajasthan! This morning, the Deccan Odyssey arrives in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, famously known as the “Pink City” due to the distinctive blush-colored buildings that adorn its historic centre. This review is long overdue. Vinny and Himanchu listened keenly to understand what we were looking for and then worked tirelessly to create an itinerary that was perfect for my family and I. Indeed we remember it as one of the best vacations we've taken. Our visit from Delhi to Leh to Nubra Valley to Agra to Jaipur and back to Delhi was carefully orchestrated with all the comforts and amenities that allowed for a 1st class travel excursion. We had local guides knowledgeable with the local attractions along the way and Himachu accompanied us on all the domestic travel - both flights and train. It was a delig.... Read More

We are just home from a fantastic tour of the Golden Triangle, organised for us by Boutindia, where we saw some awe inspiring sights. We can’t rate this company highly enough. During the booking period our questions were answered and everything was tailored to our needs. Bout India was amazing in helping us to plan a very last minute trip to the amazing Spiti valley! Initially Nitesh and Kunal were able to put together a super itinerary based on our preference, and made their recommendations accordingly. They were able to put us at ease as we had not worked with Bout before, especially given that we had to make the entire payment upfront because of the timeframe. They were able to put us in touch with the local agent in Manali. Geet took over the communication before we reached Manali, and was checking with us constantly throughout the trip. She was able to incorporate places that were not initially planned in the tri.... Read More
