Overview – These two states (Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh) are blessed with ancient monuments, rare wildlife, carved temples, Buddhist sites, palaces, waterfalls, caves, rock paintings, and hill plateaus.
Madhya Pradesh is the oldest part of the subcontinent, home of prehistoric caves that preserve some fascinating paintings dating back to Paleolithic times. Food - The State of Chhattisgarh is known as the rice bowl of India and has a rich tradition of food culture. Most of the traditional and tribal foods are made of rice and rice flour, curd, and a variety of green leafy vegetables.
