Amritsar is an icon of the glorious Sikh religion. It was founded by Guru Ram Das and is located in the northwestern part of India. Amritsar is famous for Golden Temple (aka Shri Harmandir Sahib) the most sacred spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh shrines. It’s also a symbol of kinship and equality. A visit to this divine pilgrimage and bathing in the water (aka “Holy Pool of Nectar”) around the Golden Temple is assumed to cleanse the soul.

Amritsar is situated near Pakistan with Wagah Border in proximity. It’s also famous for its carpets, fabrics, farm products, and handicrafts.
