Ranakpur also known as Temple town of Rajasthan is one of the most important of the five pilgrimage places of the state rich with lush foliage and picturesque scenes. It is famous for its spectacular Jain Temples made in 15th century during reign of Rana Kumbha. The Temple provides a perfect example of Indian craftsmanship and stone sculptor, it’s made of marvelously carved Light colored marble stone with sinuous and unseen details, the temple’s area occupies approx 3625 meters, standing on 1444 marble pillars with exquisite cravings, the construction is well described in a 1437 CE copper-plate record, scripted in Sanskrit text.
