Khimsar village lies in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan, halfway between Jodhpur and Nagaur, on the eastern edge of the Thar Desert. The fort has now been converted into a heritage hotel. In the midst of the sandy, dry desert, this village has a picturesque oasis.
