There are some parts of the world that, once visited, get into your heart and won't go. For me, India is such a place. When I first visited, I was stunned by the richness of the land, by its lush beauty and exotic architecture, by its ability to overload the senses with the pure, concentrated intensity of its colors, smells, tastes, and sounds... I had been seeing the world in black & white and, when brought face-to-face with India, experienced everything re-rendered in brilliant technicolor.

The land between the Great Himalayas and the Great Indian Ocean”. It is the most colorful and vibrant country. It’s actually not just a country, it’s a subcontinent. India has 29 states and 7 union territories. Each state has something extraordinary for everyone. Its ever expansive borders offer an incomparable range of landscapes, cultures, food and people.
India has the most fascinating and glorious history, it’s the land of rich cultures and traditions. The astounding temples and forts, mystical monasteries and monuments in India exist as an epitome of existence of great kings and ruling dynasties of India. These marvelous monuments tell the tales of that wonderful era, just give them an ear.
India is one such place that will get into your heart. The diversity in cultures and religions is quite surprising. So many different religions (Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian and Sikh), more than 28 languages and still they all share the brotherhood and respect for each other. Everybody shares the joy of festivals.
Walking in the Indian streets will give you a different experience. There is a wild, bright and infectious energy all around. The mesmerizing Ganga aarti in Haridwar takes you to another level. The regional food and drinks spice up your day. You can feel close to nature’s heart in Himalayas, Get up close with wildlife in Nilgiri Ranges of South India, Enjoy sun-bathe at happening beaches of Goa, and forget the world at enchanting backwaters of Kerala. There is so much more to explore and experience in India. Come out of your comfort zone and get a different, a new perspective on life.
WOW, where do I start? Firstly from the first email from Himanshu Maru I knew I was dealing with a very professional company. All the places that I asked to visit were tailored exactly to our wishes. The hotels were very good, the beautiful summer palace in Jodhpur was spectacular. All the guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. The drivers and vehicles were great. The drivers took care of us and gave us a feeling of comfort and security. The cars were always spotless, with good supplies of cold bottled water We had the most amazing 18 days and Loved everything we did and saw. Himanshu met up with us in Agra and Jaipur, and kept in contact with us to make sure everything was going to plan. I hope to to go back to India and when I do it will be with Bout India. Thanks for a brilliant time.
We had a tour for 3 people at the 'comfort' level, and I can't imagine what additional service comes with the luxury level, because we were extremely comfortable. Himanshu and his team arranged beautiful hotels for us (including personalising according to our request of smaller hotels where we could get to know the staff), and everywhere we went we had local guides who really knew the monuments and had great pride in their city. We always had wonderful food (our favourite was when Himanshu took us on a street food tour of Jaipur), but were very well looked after and no one got sick throughout the entire trip. One of our tour members was an older lady who was not very fit, but our driver was able to take us basically door to door most of the time, so she was fine despite the heat. Everything about our trip was personalised according to our tastes - what we wanted to see, what kind of food we wanted to eat, how long we wanted to be out and about each day - I have never been so well taken care of on a holiday. It was a wonderful way to see this beautiful country, and I came back filled with happy memories.
I found Bout India through an internet search. Like anything unknown I was weary at first, but because of the immediate response I felt as though they were taking me seriously. Within days we had corresponded several times and had the basis of a tour. Himanshu was on hand at all times to help and advise - he was also not adverse to changing the programme, which happened several times. For 3 months we worked together to arrange our customised tour and when we arrived in India we were not disappointed. Everything that had been arranged - hotel reservations, flights, drivers - worked smoothly. The hotels were great and the driver very helpful. Kerala is a wonderful state; from the fishing port of Kochi to the Tea Hills in Munnar and Thekkady. From the backwaters of Alleppy to the Ayurvedic center at Kollam you could not ask for a more diverse place. A fantastic holiday which will live for ever in our memories - and a big thank you to BOUT INDIA for organising it.
The experience we had with “bout.india” was outstanding! We have never been in India and initially relied completely on the travel suggestions from “bout.india”. The itinerary later changed a few times because we wanted to go to some different places as well as skip some of the suggested stops. The communications with Himanchu, one of the owners of the travel agency, were frequent and detailed. The company provided a very detailed itinerary including descriptions, pictures and advice. We always had a driver who picked us up in a recent Toyota SUV at the respective airports or train station, frequently waiting with flowers or other welcome gifts. Another outstanding feature was that the company provided an Indian cell phone free of charge with unlimited calls and data transfer. We, therefore, were able to call and be reached at any time. One employee of “bout.india”, Divya, called every day to make sure that everything was OK. All together, it was an excellent trip that we enjoyed a lot. We always felt safe (even though driving in India is mindboggling) and were pampered in usually 4 and 5 star hotels throughout our trip. Oh, one last thing: The trip cost only about half what a well known competitor charged even though hotels and transportation were very similar.
India is a huge country and an amazing potpourri of cultures & landscapes. It has been traveller's fascination since the ancient times. There is something for everyone! For mountain lovers, there are Himalayas. For Desert lovers, there is the "Thar Desert". For people who want to experience royal hospitality, there are palaces turned into heritage luxury hotels. There are exquisite forts, palaces, wild-life sanctuaries, backwaters, beaches, tea-plantations, spice-plantations, and awe-inspiring ancient architecture of temples in Tamil Nadu!
